After all surfaces are cleaned and holes filled, Echobase was applied to the exterior ICF wall. The exterior membrane is then applied after the Echobase dries thoroughly.
The exterior membrane is designed to allow water to penetrate while keeping debris out. The penetrated water then drops to the French drain system below. EchoShield tape is used to secure the exterior membrane along the top edge while preventing debris from entering the top edge. Bostich staples were used to keep the exterior membrane in place. Another feature of the exterior membrane is its' interlocking design which allows sections to be easily joined until backfilling is completed.
